Changes at the Parish Cpuncil
At the Parish Council Annual Meeting Tommy Cooper was elected as Chairman after agreeing to take over from John Pitts earlier in the year. John has had to resign due to ill health and the Parish Council is grateful for all his hard work for Exton.
Peter McNally was also co-opted onto the Council recently to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Derek Palmer and we welcome him into this new role.... Read More »

Message from Centrebus re bus services
Since the government announcement on 22nd February and the roadmap to ease out of lockdown we have been working with our bus operators on re-building our local bus services. Several changes will come into effect from 8th March 2021 including the addition of an earlier journey to the RF2 service in order to assist with getting students into Oakham to meet up with other transport connections. Covid lockdown latest news

Changes at the Parish Council
At the Annual Parish Meeting Derek Palmer the previous Chairman announced his resignation from the Council. John Pitts was elected as the new Chairman while Tommy Cooper was elected as Vice Chairman.

The Exton and Horn Parish Council is pleased to announce that the Play park will be open for use Saturday 3rd August. The wooden skateboard ramp has now been repaired at a cost of almost £2000. Exton Playpark update
Exton Playpark has been closed for some weeks due to the Cornavirus. However, the Parish Council plan to re-open it shortly once repairs have been carried out to the equipment. Users will need to take sensible precautions in using the park due to the risks posed by Covid 19. For further details please see the attached report from the Parish Clerk.
