I have a message from the organisers of the Exton produce show:David CollinsChairpersonEP&CS CommitteeCancellation of Exton Produce & Craft Show 2022It is with regret and sadness that I must announce the cancellation of the Exton Produce & Craft Show this year in the Village Hall on Sunday 24th July 2022.I will highlight below, the key reasons for this decision and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, however, we would still like to try and honour our commitment to Exton & Greetham C of E Primary School, who have embraced the Entry Classes of the Children's Section this year.As a Committee, we find ourselves with too few personnel resources to manage the efficient running, fundraising and execution of the Show this year. As previously communicated in the Village Newsletter, we require a minimum of Six volunteers to cover the working duties required to plan, manage, and run a show of this kind. If the Show is going to remain a part of the Village Community, then it requires volunteers to make it happen and people to support it, so I would welcome anyone to come forward plus ideas to shape the Show into what you'd like to see.
